Culturally Diverse Global Wedding Trends Spotlighted at Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta

International Wedding Pavilion debuts August 14, 2011

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) August 04, 2011

Atlanta already boasts the distinction of being an “international city,” a claim supported dramatically as the home of the world’s busiest airport-Hartsfield-Jackson International. Now the Atlanta-based wedding planning show, that has earned the distinction of being called the “Best Wedding Show in the Country” by the co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Knot, the leading wedding marketing resource for Brides, adds a special showcase for brides and grooms from international cultures in need of local resources for their unique wedding planning desires.

“We are so excited to announce our new partnership with Nadira Merali and Envi Events that will combine the International Bridal Affair, Atlanta’s premiere wedding planning showcase for international culture and tradition, with the next Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta.” announced wedding show pioneer and Bridal Extravaganza creator, Donna Jakulski. “This will help connect and introduce brides and grooms with the best wedding professionals with the resources, cultural knowledge of traditions to serve Indian, Southeast Asian, African and all of the wedding needs of our wonderful international city.”

The International Wedding Pavilion will showcase more than a dozen unique vendors, as well as showcase fashion, design trends and the best of Atlanta resources that the Bridal Extravaganza offers.

Among Atlanta’s top wedding professionals featured at the show: SE Events, Wedding Angels, The Manson on Peachtree, The Georgian Terrace, Perfect Petals, The Knot, Occasions Magazine, A Divine Event, Marriott Hotels, Starwood Hotels, Perfect Wedding Cake and many more. All confirmed participating companies can be found within the directory on the Be A Bride web site.

Other firsts at the next Extravaganza include:

The debut of “THE SKYY LOUNGE”, sponsored by SKYY Vodka and The Knot. Brides and grooms may submit ideas for specialty cocktails on the Bridal Extravaganza’s facebook page to be designed by SKYY Master Mixologists, and the two most popular will be served to attendees at this fun and relaxed lounge area during the show.

Inspiration Boards Come to Life, sponsored by Brides.com, Anya Bridal Warehouse and Savvi Formalwear. See how Four of Atlanta’s top wedding planners pull together style, fashion and creative touches in a live display of themes, ideas, and resources that provide inspiration far beyond the traditional trade show style exhibitions of other shows.

The August Extravaganza will again be held at 200 Peachtree Special Events & Conference Center, Atlanta’s spectacular new venue for weddings, located within the transformed former Macy’s on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta. The show hours are 1pm to 5pm on Sunday, August 14, 2011.

Advance tickets are now on sale online for $ 10. Tickets at the door will be $ 15 (cash only). A limited number of VIP Bride and VIP guest tickets also are available.
