John Macarther pinpoints how the seeker/prosperity movement in mega churches is paganisim and the work of Satan himself. Black churches like this fall especially into this category and by no means commit themselves to teaching? the trinity or the actual gospel, which oh by the says nothing about self-fufillment whatsoever. @mole646 Wow. the name calling? There are several scriptures in the bible that speaks of prospertiy (Ps. 115:14; Luke 6:38; Nu. 13:27). The thing is that our prosperity is not for ourselves but to benefit others. The scriptures says that God disciplines those whom He loves, not man discipline others. This looked like a beautiful wedding. It really saddens me to see the comments below. The bible says that the greatest commandment given is to love your neighbor as yourself. Love is not arrogant or boostful. As believers, we should not hate, discriminate, or mistreat one another but from what I am reading, this is what we are doing. Even if we do not think what Bishop Jakes is doing is right, we? as believers have no right to comment on his actions but the great judge sits on the throne.
